NanoEngineering professor, Sheng Xu, has lead a team in developing a stretchable electronic patch that can be used to perform a variety of wireless activity.

The Department of NanoEngineering would like to extend its congratulations to our Chair, Dr. Joseph Wang, for being honored with the 2018 ESEAC Lifetime Achievement Award in Electroanalytical Chemistry.  The award celebrates Dr. Wang's significant achievements in Electrochemistry.

Congratulations to Dr. Maziar Behtash of the Yang Research Group, who recently received his Ph.D in NanoEngineering. His defense on "First-Principles Investigation of Defects in Perovskite and Fluorite-Structured Ceramic Interfaces" was presented on August 7, 2018. Dr.

Congratulations to Dr. Pavimol Angsantikul (Zhang Research Group), who recently received her Ph.D in NanoEngineering. Her defense on "Biointerfacing Via Cell Membrane-Coated Nanoparticles for Novel Antibacterial Nanotherapeutics"  was presented on May 15, 2018. Dr.

Congratulations to Dr. Jianli Cheng (Yang Research Group), who recently received his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering. His defense on "First-Principles Study of Two-Dimensional Electron Gas in Perovskite Oxide Heterostructures"  was presented on July 5, 2018. Dr.

Congratulations to NanoEngineering Ph.D. graduates, Dr. Pavimol Angsantikul and Dr. Jinxing Li, who have been named the winners of the Eudragit (R) Award - North America for 2017.  This award is given to researchers worldwide for their scientific work involving Eudragit (R) polymers.

On Saturday, June 16th, Jacobs School of Engineering celebrated the achievements of their graduating seniors at the 2018 Ring Ceremony. At the event, students received a ring to symbolize their commitment to ethics in their careers as engineers.
