Dr Vlado A. Lubarda elected to the European Academy of Sciences and Arts

Dr Vlado A. Lubarda, Adjunct Professor of MAE, Research Affiliate of CMRR and Senior Lecturer on NE, was elected to the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (http://www.euro-acad.eu/), the class of Technical and Environmental Sciences, in recognition of his research contributions to the field of applied mechanics and written technical books widely used in engineering education in Europe and the USA. The European Academy of Sciences and Arts is a learned society of scholars from various fields who focus on scientific, social, cultural and ethical issues facing Europe and the globe. The Academy presently brings together over 1500 scientists and researchers, philosophers and artists from Europe, Asia and the USA, including 29 Nobel Prize winners. The Academy is comprised of seven classes devoted to Medicine, Humanities, Arts, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences/Law and Economics, Technical and Environmental Sciences, and World Religions.
